TRACK & FIELD
Hanna was a professional Track and Field star representing Costa Rica before she gravitated towards the world of boxing.
The discipline attained from track and field still shapes the way she attacks her daily workouts. Everyday without fail she revisits the pavement with her early morning runs.
TECHNICAL BOXING & SPARRING
Six days out of the week Hanna is with her trainers fine tuning boxing combinations, strength and accuracy.
Sparring partners vary amoung a stable of professional Costa Rica male boxers. The only time Hanna faces another woman in the ring is after months of training and sparring besides her male co-workers.
ALTERNATIVE FITNESS OPTIONS
Hanna's body is so adaptable that Team Hanna finds itself with a challange about every three to four days, which is to find variation because of her rapid muscle memory.
Her body gets acostumed to one form of excercise so quickly that we dont find the results needed to meet our goals.
The solution we turned to was to incorporate variations of weight lifting, cycling, swimming and rough terrain. The results have been exceptional but Hanna keeps pushing us for more and more and more variation.
